American History I
American History I will cover from the discovery of the "New World" to the era of Reconstruction following the Civil War.
This course is designed for students to explore, understand and interpret the history of the United States from its beginnings to the end of Reconstruction following the Civil War. The students will analyze and learn the major political, social, cultural and economic developments throughout the United States’ History and how they have influenced the world in which we live in today. Students will be learning how to examine history as a historian through five major lenses:

- Turning Points
- Through Their Eyes
- Using the Past
