American History II
American History II will begin following the Era of Reconstruction and move through America's History up until the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
This course is designed for students to explore, understand and interpret the history of the United States following the Era of Reconstruction until present day. The students will analyze and learn the major political, social, cultural and economic developments throughout the United States’ History and how they have influenced the world in which we live in today. Students will be learning how to examine history as a historian through five major lenses:
- Cause and Effect
- Change and Continuity
- Turning Points
- Through Their Eyes
- Using the Past
